A few Cougars and future Cougars should hear their names called in the next couple days.
The MLB Draft doesn't receive the attention the NFL and MLB drafts do, but it has the biggest impact on WSU. It's rare for a WSU football or basketball player to enter the draft early, but several baseball underclassmen and recruits jump to pro ball.
The 2015 MLB Draft gets underway on Monday and once again, a few WSU players and recruits are in the mix. The first round and compensation round will be held on Monday and there doesn't figure to be any ties to WSU.
