Last year's Apple Cup wasn't a whole lot of fun for those on the good side of the state (even less fun if you were at the game), and really wasn't much of a ballgame. This year's rendition likely won't be a matchup of top 25 teams, or maybe even of bowl bound teams, but it should be more competitive. Over at Pacific Takes Jack Follman ranked the Pac-12's rivalries, and the Apple Cup came in at fourth.
Now, I'm going to avoid doing my own rankings, I generally try to avoid writing pieces that could be done in a slideshow format.
