PULLMAN, Wash. – Cameron Frost’s three-run home run highlighted a five-run fourth inning to lead Washington State to a 11-1 victory over New Mexico State in a nonconference game Monday at Bailey-Brayton Field.
The Cougars (18-17) had pushed across two runs already when Frost drilled a 3-1 pitch over the wall in right for his second home run of the season. The inning’s first run came on a double steal in which Jack Strunc came home and the other the result of a wild pitch.
WSU played add-on in the fifth with three more runs to close out the scoring.
