DaVonte Lacy is one of the most accomplished basketball players in WSU history. He is both an All-Pac-12 first team selection and the Cougars all-time leader in three pointers made. He also finished as the fifth-leading scorer in the history of the school.
All which begs the question, will Lacy be selected in tonight's NBA draft? Reading the tea leaves, it doesn't appear so. Scouts seem to have issues with his defensive abilities and ball-handling skills according to hoopshabit.com. Defense has become a big emphasis with NBA teams, so that could hurt his chances.
