PHOENIX, Ariz. – Andrew Snow’s RBI single in the bottom of the 11th inning lifted No. 12 Arizona State to a 6-5 victory over Washington State Saturday night at Phoenix Municipal Stadium
The 11th inning started with a Cougar (28-25, 10-17) error that allowed Trever Allen to reach base. Allen was promptly sacrificed to second and came around with the winning run on Snow’s single to right. The win secured the series victory for Arizona State (32-19, 17-10).
The Sun Devils almost won it in the 10th as Snow led off with a single and moved to third on a sacrifice bunt and error.
