WSU finished off a nice homestand.
When WSU arrived in Pullman for a nine-game homestand, the Cougars were on the downturn. Facing top team after top team -- most of which on the road -- had taken a toll. WSU was just 14-16 on the year. The NCAA Tournament may be out of the picture, but at least WSU got back on the right track while at home. The Cougars won seven of nine games on the homestand and will head back on the road three games over .500.
WSU capped the extended time at home with a 8-5 win against San Jose State.
