PULLMAN, Wash. – Former Washington State pitcher Adam Conley has been called up to the Miami Marlins, the organization announced Monday.
Conley, a second-round pick by the Marlins in 2011, owns a 5-2 record with a 3.05 ERA and 44 strikeouts over 59 innings in ten Triple-A starts this season. The lefthander from Olympia, Wash. is coming off one of the best outings in his career, striking out eight over 7.1 innings in a win over the Tacoma Rainiers in Tacoma last Friday.
Conley and the Marlins will be in Toronto Monday night to begin a three-game series against the Blue Jays.
