USC's Adoree' Jackson excels in his first practice at receiver

LOS ANGELES – USC sophomore Adoree’ Jackson played on offense for the first time in training camp Wednesday, and it was as if he’d been there all along.

After spending the first 11 practices of camp at cornerback, Jackson shifted to wide receiver, per Trojans coach Steve Sarkisian’s plan. If Jackson had any rust, it wasn’t evident. He scored five touchdowns, in various and spectacular ways.

“He’s phenomenal,” USC receivers coach Tee Martin said. “It starts with football IQ. You can’t do the amount of things that he’s doing without him being an extremely intelligent human being.
