UCF basketball’s thrilling upset victory against then-No. 17 Kansas on Saturday has propelled the Knights into the Associated Press top 25 rankings for the first time since 2019.
The Knights (12-1, 1-0 Big 12) came in at No. 25 in this week’s rankings, making their first appearance since March 4, 2019. This comes two days after the team beat the Jayhawks 81-75 in front of a nearly sold-out Addition Financial Arena.
This is the earliest a UCF team has been ranked since the Knights reached No. 24 on Dec. 20, 2010, after a 10-0 start, including a win over No.
