A Sportsnet report a few days ago cites a quote by newly signed Flyers defender Evgeni Medvedev that indicates Burmistrov – Winnipeg Jets property – is returning to the NHL.
Burmistrov is 23 years old and had minimal success on his ELC with the Winnipeg Jets and bolted to the KHL the first chance he got after displeasure with how he was being used under the Claude Noel regime.
Now that he’s set to return, does he still harbor negative feelings toward the organization? Or is he open to working under Paul Maurice?
