In 61 games this season Meier recorded 44 goals and 90 points for the Mooseheads. He followed his stellar season with a 10 goal, 21 point effort in 14 playoff games for Halifax. Both totals were a big step up from his rookie season in the Quebec League. As a rookie, Meier recorded 17 goals and 34 points in 66 games during the regular season.
At the conclusion of this past season he was named a QMJHL Second All-Star. He also won the Mike Bossy Trophy as the best professional prospect, making him the third consecutive Moosehead to win.
