Bittner had a strong 2014-15 season for the Winterhawks. He was fourth on the team in points with 71 and scored 34 goals, which was the third highest mark on the team. All the players to outperform Bittner in both categories have already been drafted by NHL teams. He was also a steady contributor for Portland in their playoff campaign with four goals and 12 points in 17 games. His efforts allowed him to take part in the CHL's Top Prospects game earlier this year. In 2012-13, his rookie season, he was a member of Portland's WHL Championship squad.
