McDavid stands at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds and shoots from the left side. With 120 points in just 47 games following both a broken bone in his hand and the World Juniors, the production speaks for itself.
He has starred for Canada at every level he has represented the country. He won gold at the U20 tournament this past January in Toronto and won gold two years ago at the U18 level. He also captured the U18 tournament MVP and 'Best Forward' honours.
It's difficult to come up with ways to describe McDavid's sheer ability. As noted earlier, it's not simply his ability to play the game with the puck on his stick but the speed at which he does it.
