It is rare to see a team who struggles on the field have any type of positive momentum on the recruiting trail. I am afraid that recruiting will be washed up in the ripple effect of the past four weeks. If there ever was a year where stability was needed it would be this year since it is the opening year of the early commitment period for football. This early signing period is expected to change the landscape of how recruiting is done and many expect that most commits will want to sign early rather than wait until national signing day.
