Texas A&M basketball was on the winning side of one of the craziest finishes of the college basketball season against Auburn. The Aggies clawed their way back out of a 16-point deficit, forcing turnovers and hitting 3-pointers. The Aggies were able to get out to a comfortable lead by the last media timeout, but the Tigers forced takeaways of their own down the stretch and fought their way into a two-point game with two seconds left.
After Pop Isaacs missed a free throw on purpose, up by two, Auburn was about to attempt an impossible heave from three-quarters distance with the clock running, and had no chance to make the shot.
