Bolton sign Stoke goalkeeper Bonham

Bolton Wanderers have signed goalkeeper Jack Bonham from Championship side Stoke City on an 18-month deal.

The 32-year-old joins Wanderers after loan signing Teddy Sharman-Lowe returned to Chelsea earlier on Wednesday.

Bonham previously played under Bolton boss Steven Schumacher at Stoke and joins after the Potters signed Southampton goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu on loan.

"We've worked together before. He [Schumacher] knows what I'm capable of. He knows I can play at this level and above and it was a no-brainer for me when this came up," Bonham told the club's website.

"I needed to get out and play and obviously things were evolving at Stoke and the opportunity arose here.
