TAMPA, Fla. – Jan. 5, 2026 — University of South Florida men's basketball associate head coach Tee Butters has been named to the Silver Waves Media 2026 Mid-Major Coaches List, the organization announced.
Now in its seventh year, the Silver Waves Media Mid-Major Coaches and General Managers lists have become an industry standard for recognizing elite assistant coaches across Division I men's basketball, with numerous past honorees advancing to Division I head coaching roles. Selections are made following consultation with a national panel of industry professionals.
Butters joined head coach Bryan Hodgson's staff as associate head coach at USF in April 2025 after working under Hodgson at Arkansas State during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, including one year as associate head coach.
