TAMPA, Fla., January 4, 2025 – The University of South Florida men's basketball team battled UAB through 50 minutes of action before falling 109–106 in double overtime Sunday afternoon at the Yuengling Center.
The teams were tied 83–83 at the end of regulation and at 95–95 after the first overtime before UAB pulled ahead in the second extra period.
Wes Enis finished with an American Conference season-high of 36 points, via a program record and career-best 10 three-pointers after missing the previous two games.
Enis announced his return by knocking down a three-pointer to give the Bulls their first lead of the game and then followed with another three-pointer three minutes later, helping South Florida jump out to an early 12–7 advantage.
