PORTLAND, Ore. – It was a highly successful fall on the field and in the classroom for University of Portland Athletics, who rank among the top teams in the nation and the West Coast after a record-breaking year across the board.
In the 2025-26 Learfield Directors' Cup Division I Fall Standings, University of Portland is tied for 50th nationally with the University of Texas and Florida State University. This is the third time in the last five years that the Pilots have ranked among the top 50 nationally. In addition, the Pilots ranked first in the West Coast Conference and second among all NCAA Division I-AAA schools (institutions that do not sponsor football) in the end of the year Directors' Cup standings.
