Connor Heyward ‘Hated’ Tush Push Before, But ‘I Love It’ Now

The Tush Push has become a controversial play around the NFL. The Philadelphia Eagles popularized it a few years ago, and now, basically every team runs it. That includes the Pittsburgh Steelers, although they put their own twist on it. Rather than have a quarterback take the snap, they put Connor Heyward in that position. However, Heyward didn’t always appreciate the play before the Steelers started utilizing it.

“I hated it, I’m not gonna lie,” Heyward said Monday via the team’s website. “But now, I love it. Not even just because I’m a part of it, but all the plays off of it.
