Penn State men’s hockey used a rejuvenated lineup to dominate Minnesota in a sweep last weekend. While it played its best games of the season, it didn’t escape unscathed. A few key injuries sustained in the Big Ten series will be key moving forward for the Nittany Lions.
Throughout the first half of the season, Penn State’s defense struggled to find an identity, which was an issue Guy Gadowsky preached on in nearly every press conference until winter break.
Upon return, and the return of Cade Christenson, Penn State’s defense has begun showing some consistency and an identity that can lead the Nittany Lions forward.
