Penn State men’s volleyball is off a dominant start to the season, defeating Mount Olive in its home opener 3-1.
In the match, Sean Harvey led the Nittany Lions, collecting 13 kills on 29 total attempts, and Miller Trubey, who racked up 10 kills on 25 total attempts, was just behind him as the secondary option. Jaxon Herr and Michael Schwob combined for a total of 44 assists en route to a blue and white victory.
Penn State followed up that strong performance with a 3-0 shutout win against Manhattan on Saturday. Harvey led the Nittany Lions with 14 kills on 18 attempts, hitting a resounding 0.
