UCLA’s first-ever trip to State College was an eventful one.
In the midst of a three-game losing streak – all ranked opponents – Penn State has been desperate for a win.
The Nittany Lions fought hard in their recent stretch of games and kept it interesting, but just weren’t able to close it out, including a near-upset over then-ranked No. 2 Michigan.
Once again, the blue and white just didn’t have enough to keep up, and remain winless in conference play after falling to UCLA 71-60.
To kick off just the third all-time meeting between the two programs, Penn State won the opening tipoff only to turn it over, giving the Bruins an optimal scoring opportunity.
