After battling Pelicans, Magic head overseas: ‘We’ve still got a job to do’

Through the first three quarters of Sunday’s game between the Magic and Pelicans at Kia Center, New Orleans outscored Orlando 98-91, shot 64.4% from the field and got to free throw line 13 times for 11 makes.

But in the fourth quarter?

Jamahl Mosley‘s squad battened down the hatches on defense, and the Pelicans only scored 20 points in the final 12 minutes, shot 38.1% from the floor and attempted two free throws.

That same frame, Orlando racked up 37 points, made 12 free throws and only turned the ball over once after conceding it 12 times the first three quarters.
