Makhi Hughes moves on, while the Ducks seek a prime target at tackle

In another shock-free decision in the Transfer Portal, former Tulane running back Makhi Hughes is entering after one disappointing season with the Ducks, announced on his Instagram page.

The 5-11, 210-pound scatback was rated one of the top transfer acquisitions in college football a year ago at this time, but quickly fell behind Noah Whittington, Jordon Davison, Dierre Hill and Jayden Limar on the depth chart, limited to 17 carries for 70 yards in four games with the team.

He elected to redshirt after six carries against Oregon State, suiting up for the James Madison game with an appearance on the kickoff team.
