STILLWATER — Oklahoma State isn’t done shoring up the protection around quarterback Drew Mestemaker.
On Thursday, 247Sports reporter McClain Baxley reported that Coastal Carolina lineman Joseph Hanson was joining the Cowboys. He should have one season of eligibility remaining, plus a redshirt year, should he need it.
Hanson earned All-Sun Belt honorable mention honors for his performance in 2025. Hanson started 10 games at right tackle in 2025. Pro Football Focus credits him with giving up only three sacks in 572 snaps. He started two games as a sophomore in 2024 and once (at left tackle) during his freshman season.
