One of the most mourned losses in the transfer portal has signed with a conference foe.
Former Oklahoma State edge rusher Wendell Gregory will continue his career in the Little Apple. Gregory has signed with Kansas State, according On3’s Pete Nakos.
Gregory came to the Cowboys ahead of 2024 from South Carolina, just in time for his breakout. He had three sacks in the Cowboys’ season opener against UT-Martin, providing a rare spark for OSU fans during a dreary season that just go drearier.
The redshirt freshman went on to earn Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year and All-Big 12 third team honors thanks to a team-leading four sacks and his 12 tackles for loss.
