During Missouri's 84-74 win over Auburn, the Tigers recevied some much need help from Trent Pierce, who is still ramping back up from injury. Pierce played 28 minutes off the bench and racked up 18 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Meanwhile, Pierce was struggling just to stay on the court. He admitted later that is game-shape is still a work in progress, going as far to say he even wanted out of the game at one point. Coach Dennis Gates, however, had other ideas.
"Tell the truth," Gates said with a smile before Pierce could explain himself.
