AKRON, Ohio – The Miami University women's basketball team used an 18-2 second quarter run and never looked back as they down the University of Akron 79-56 on Saturday afternoon. Amber Scalia led Miami (12-4, 4-0 MAC) in scoring as the RedHawks improved to 4-0 in Mid-American Conference play for the first time since 2011-12.
