It didn't take long for Michigan's newest head coach, Kyle Whittingham, to convince the Wolverines' young starting quarterback, Bryce Underwood, to stick around for at least one more season in Ann Arbor.
However, when Whittingham joined Urban Meyer on his podcast, The Triple Option, he shared that the process wasn't quite as easy as it appeared from the outside.
"Was it a struggle to keep [Byrce Underwood], or was he pretty much a let's-go man?" Meyer asked.
"There was maybe a little hesitation until he got to know me and the rest of the staff," Whittingham answered.
