The Los Angeles Rams narrowly escaped Charlotte with a win over the weekend, taking down the Carolina Panthers by three points and moving on to the divisional round. The narrow victory might have some people wondering if the Rams truly are worth all of the hype they've received given how they were double-digit favorites entering the game.
It's a fair critique. The Rams didn't look like the terrorizing team that they've been for the majority of the 2025 season and, to make matters worse, they allowed the Panthers to hang around. It looked like Los Angeles might run away with it early on but, give credit to Carolina, the Panthers kept fighting and threw everything they had at the Rams.
