Dodgers Meet With Kyle Tucker as LA Emerges as Frontrunner

The Los Angeles Dodgers have met with All-Star free agent Kyle Tucker during their pursuit of the outfielder this offseason, according to MLB insider Jim Duquette.

Tucker is among the top free agents in the current class, and the Dodgers are a perfect fit as they look for a solution to their hole in the outfield. Michael Conforto played a majority of 2025 in left field, however his offensive woes and defensive regression left him off of the roster completely come October.

“A League source confirmed to me that the three main teams involved in the Tucker negotiations (Tor, LAD, NYM) have all met with the player, either in person or over Zoom, as part of the recruiting process for a star player,” Duquette wrote via X (formerly Twitter).
