Andy Robertson admits uncertain Liverpool future, with just five months left on 32-year-old's deal after Atletico Madrid temptation last summer

Andy Robertson says his Liverpool future remains uncertain with the Scotsman’s contract set to expire this summer.

The left back will lead Scotland to their first World Cup in a generation as captain but will return back from America as a free agent, as it stands.

But the 32-year-old insists he is open minded. ‘We’ve had chats now which will remain private, we’ll see what happens,’ said Robertson, who was tempted by an offer from Atletico Madrid in the summer but decided to stay on Merseyside.

‘I’ve got five months left and we need to see the option to stay or if there’s options to go and things like that.
