A future Hawkeye commit's star continues to rise after getting the call from Team USA

It's been a crazy weekend for future Hawkeye hoops star McKenna Woliczko.

The six-foot-two Iowa commit from San Bruno, California, recently returned to the court for Archbishop Mitty High School after a long injury layoff.

Last year, Woliczko tore her ACL and meniscus and was finally able to make her return as the calendar flipped to January.

Since making her return on January 2, Woliczko has been on a tear, averaging a double-double with 18.0 points and 12.7 rebounds per game.

On Saturday, she faced off against another top 2026 prospect, Kaleena Smith, and the game was an instant classic.
