IU football’s momentum on the recruiting trail continued Saturday afternoon with a trio of commitments in the class of 2027.
The Hoosiers received pledges from receiver Ja’Hyde Brown, safety Garyon Hobbs and athlete Monsanna Torbert.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Brown plays at Christian Academy in Louisville, Kentucky, and is considered a four-star prospect nationally by the 247Sports Composite.
Brown also considered Alabama, Louisville and Vanderbilt.
Hobbs, who also plays at Christian Academy in Louisville, Kentucky, is listed at 5-foot-11 and 198 pounds.
Considered a three-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite rankings, Hobbs also considered Notre Dame and Vanderbilt, among others.
