Braves Win First Conference Game

u200bu200bTerre Haute, Ind. – Bradley Baseball opened Missouri Valley Conference play in style on Friday night, earning its first conference win of the season with a 10-8 victory over Indiana State at Bob Warn Field.

A Fast Start and Momentum Swings

Bradley struck first in the opening inning as Hayden Miller launched a two-run home run to give the Braves an early 2-0 lead. Indiana State answered in the second, but Bradley regained control in the fourth inning with four runs. Jaxon Schumacher delivered a two-RBI double before Sohrab Rezaei followed with a two-run double to extend the lead to 6-1.
