Stoke City star Robert Bozenik was left in tears after suffering a serious injury during his side's 1-0 win against Hull City on New Year's Day.
The Potters forward, who scored the only goal of the game in the 39th minute, was forced off following a lengthy delay after suffering the injury just moments into the second half.
After Bozenik went down, the referee urgently signalled to the physios to come on while Ben Gibson quickly gestured to manager Mark Robins that a substitution would need to be made.
The 26-year-old footballer, who appeared to seriously injure his arm and shoulder, required oxygen during the long delay, which led to 17 minutes of stoppage time being dished out at the end of the Championship match.
