LeBron James could return to the court when the Golden State Warriors host the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday.
James hasn’t played since Christmas day, when he injured his groin during a Lakers blowout victory against the Warriors. He’s missed 17 straight games, including when the Warriors exacted their revenge with a blowout victory of their own earlier this month.
But James is nearing a return. And with the Lakers taking on the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night, James has officially been upgraded to “doubtful.”
LeBron has been changed from out to doubtful, the Lakers say.
