FRISCO -- Last January, Garabet Avedissian left his post as Costa Rica's women's soccer coach to take over the men's and women's programs of Puerto Rico.
On Saturday, he watched as his former team routed his current one 9-0.
"It's really hard to find explanations when you try to do things right on the field and also when you are facing a superior team," Avedissian said after the game through a translator. "It's hard to motivate the players when they're not experienced enough to play at this level."
