As the preseason comes to a rapid close and the roster begins to finalize, we're going to take a look at each position and check on the depth and who will probably hold the starting position to start the year. To get the series kicked off, we're looking at FCD's goalkeepers heading into the 2016 season.
On paper, this seems to be the most set and predictable Position Battle section that we'll be doing. Homegrown Jesse Gonzalez came into his own and claimed the starting position from veterans Dan Kennedy and Chris Seitz last season and even garnered some interest from the USMNT.
