Ball is in Je-Vaughn's court
This week the Washington Post's Steven Goff dropped a tweet out of the blue stating that not only was FC Dallas' Je-Vaughn Watson not in Dallas' camp, he has been requesting a trade.
Now, this actually helped fill out a story I'd heard, but not shared, last season. Someone, and I can't recall who, told me Watson had openly told a group of fans at a team event he "hoped not" to be back with Dallas in 2016. It sounded like a misunderstanding so I didn't chase it.
