The Edmonton Oilers are set to face the Los Angeles Kings for the first time of the 2025-26 NHL season. These two teams have a lot of history, having met in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs for four straight seasons. In all four series the two clubs have played against one another, Connor McDavid and the Oilers have triumphed.
Currently, the Oilers captain is in the midst of a 17-game point streak where he has been red hot scoring 41 points with 18 goals and 23 assists over that span. He has the chance to extend his streak to 18 games against the Kings on Saturday night.
