Bears CB Kyler Gordon thrilled about return vs. Packers, playing for 'bigger stakes'

The last time Kyler Gordon was supposed to face the Packers, he hurt his groin during warmups at Lambeau Field, was held out for the game and wound up spending a month on injured reserve.

Saturday night went better, even if it wasn’t perfect.

The Bears’ slot cornerback didn’t start the Bears’ playoff game against the same Packers but earned increasing playing time as the contest went on. It was his first appearance after coming off IR hours earlier.

“I was just more comfortable with my feet underneath me …” he said Wednesday.
