BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University men’s hockey team defeated a squad from the USA Hockey National Team Development Program 6-1 on Monday in an exhibition at the Slater Family Ice Arena.
Noah Morneau finished with two goals and two assists for the Falcons while Gustav Stjernberg notched a goal and two assists.
Stjernberg opened the scoring midway through the first period to give BG an early lead and Jaden Grant also found the back of the net to make it 2-0 after 20 minutes.
Morneau made it 3-0 just 28 seconds into the second period with his first of the night.
