FAYETTEVILLE — If you are a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, you have probably seen the work of Jim Borden.
Borden, who spent decades as a sports videographer in Arkansas, died Sunday at the age of 73. His family announced his death in an obituary published in the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette on Wednesday.
His death came six months after he was presented with the 2025 Mike Harrison Excellence in Sports Media Award by the Arkansas Sportscasters and Sportswriters Hall of Fame last July. Borden was the first recipient of the award, which was created to recognize Arkansans who had distinguished careers in sports media, but did not fit the traditional definition of a sportscaster or sportswriter.
