Arkansas basketball is in desperate need of a pick-me-up after a dreadful road loss to Auburn on Saturday.
Fortunately, the No. 17 Razorbacks will be back in the comfort of their own home with a very winnable game on tap against South Carolina on Wednesday night.
The Gamecocks are 10-6 (1-2 SEC) under fourth-year coach Lamont Paris, with LSU being the only high-major opponent they’ve defeated thus far.
But Arkansas knows better than anyone not to underestimate a seemingly weak South Carolina squad. The Gamecocks were a miserable 12-20 last year, but one of their two wins in league play was a blowout win over the Hogs.
