FAYETTEVILLE— Arkansas football has landed the pledge of LSU redshirt freshman receiver transfer Jelani Watkins.
Watkins, 5-10, 162 pounds, had 2 catches for 21 yards in 3 games this season for the Tigers. He returned 2 kickoffs for a 17.5 yard average.
He earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors in track and field in his second meet in 2025. He recorded 6.63 seconds in the 60 meters at the New Mexico Collegiate, which tied for seventh-fastest time in school history and also ran 20.85 seconds in the 200 meters.
