Alabama Heisman RB elected to 2026 College Football Hall of Fame class

The first ever Heisman Trophy winner at Alabama will now be further immortalized in college football history.

Crimson Tide running back Mark Ingram, Ndamukong Suh and Aaron Donald are headlining the 2026 class of the College Football Hall of Fame announced on Wednesday. Head coaches Gary Patterson (TCU) and Chris Peterson (Boise State) are among the coaches being inducted as well.

Ingram won the Heisman Trophy in 2009 under Nick Saban which proved to be a historic season for Alabama where it ended the year 14-0 while winning its first national championship since 1992.
