Former 5-star WR Cam Coleman announced on Monday that he intends to enter the Transfer Portal when it opens on January 2nd. The Auburn WR instantly becomes one of the top names in the portal and will be coveted by every program in the country.
That includes Alabama, which might have a couple of different inroads with the star WR.
Alabama recently hired former Auburn OC Derrick Nix to be the Crimson Tide's WR coach, replacing JaMarcus Shephard, who left to be the head coach at Oregon State.
There's also sophomore Alabama defensive back Red Morgan, who was a teammate and friend of Coleman's at Central Phenix City during their high school days.
