The cut day for all NFL teams is fast approaching (more on that for my Monday piece), as teams must solidify their 53-man roster by Tuesday, August 29. It is a hectic day for all parties involved. Although players that are relegated to the practice squad can’t exactly cry poor – 18-week salaries ranged from $207,000 to $358,200 in 2022 – players that make an initial 53-man roster will make at least $750,000 in 2023.
